Vigil in memory of Joyce Echaquan

The Caring for Social Justice Collective (http://www.soignonslajusticesociale.ca), in collaboration with the Bureau du Principe de Joyce (https://www.facebook.com/principedejoyce), invites you to attend a vigil commemorating the third anniversary of the death of Joyce Echaquan. We will come together to honor her memory, and show our support to her family and community.

We invite you to wear purple and bring a candle. We hope to see you there in large numbers to express our solidarity with Joyce’s family, the Manawan community, the Atikamekw Nehirowisiw Nation, and all Indigenous Peoples.

When: 5:30 pm, Thursday, September 28th, 2023

Where: Place du Canada (corner of René Lévesque and Peel; Bonaventure Metro)
